Potassium Amyl Xanthate is a strong collector, mainly used in the flotation of non-ferrous metal minerals that require strong collecting power but not selective. For example, it is a good collector for flotation of oxidized sulfide ore or copper oxide ore and lead oxide ore (sulfided by sodium sulfide or sodium hydrosulfide). This product can also achieve better separation results for the flotation of copper-nickel sulfide ore and golden iron ore.
- Flotation of non-ferrous sulfide ores: Serves as a common collector for sulfide ores such as copper, lead, zinc, and nickel.
- Gold ore flotation: Highly effective for recovering gold associated with pyrite; it is a preferred collector for refractory gold ores (e.g., auriferous pyrite) and is particularly suitable for the recovery of coarse-grained gold.
- Oxidized ore flotation: Capable of effectively floating oxidized copper and lead ores following sulfidization treatment with sodium sulfide (Na₂S) or sodium hydrosulfide (NaHS).
- Copper-nickel sulfide ores: Also yields excellent results in the flotation of copper-nickel sulfide ores.
