Product introduction  

The Mould Powders are composed essentially of CaO-Al₂O₃-SiO₂ with addition of fluxing agents and carbon.

Mold Powders have different functions:

• Lubrication between the solidifying strand and mould wall
• Control of heat transfer between the strand and mould
• Thermal insulation of the liquid steel surface
• Prevention of re-oxidation
• Inclusion absorption

Fine Mould Powders

Our fine mould powder is a fine-grained mixture with the grain size depending on the raw materials used. Mould powders are optimized according to the parameters and individual requirements of the continuous caster. We supply fine mould powders for the following formats:
