HOT Cooled Infrared Detector 640x512 15μm for Fast Integration and Cooled FPA Infrared Detector
Engineered on advanced Type-II Superlattice sensing technology paired with an optimized linear cryocooler design, the C615H HOT cooled IR detector features 640×512 resolution and 15 μm pixel size. By raising focal-plane array working temperature to 150 K while preserving premium performance, it unlocks class-leading SWaP advantages — small footprint, light 235 g weight, and merely 3 W stable power consumption. Boasting a fast 2.5-minute cool-down cycle and minimum 25,000-hour MTTF lifespan, its miniaturized dewar and cryocooler enable flexible embedding, addressing market needs for robust thermal imaging solutions with low total-of-ownership costs.
- Dewar size: φ33 × 37.5 × 70 mm; Cryocooler: φ26 × 55.8 mm, allowing flexible integration
- Weight reduced to 235 g; stable power consumption lowered to 3 W
- Cooling time as short as 2.5 minutes
- MTTF ≥ 25,000 h

By using the principle of infrared radiant thermal effect, the uncooled infrared detector converts infrared radiation energy into heat energy with infrared absorption material, so that the temperature of the sensitive material increases. Then, a certain physical parameter of the sensitive material changes accordingly and converts into an electrical signal or visible light signal through a certain conversion mechanism designed to realize the detection of the object.
Uncooled infrared focal plane detectors do not need an Integrated Dewar Cooler Assembly (IDCA) device and can work at room temperature. They have the advantages of fast start, low power consumption, small size, light weight, long life, low cost, and so on. Although the sensitivity of uncooled infrared focal plane detectors is not as good as that of cooled infrared detectors, after years of development, their cost performance has been obviously better than the cooled detector, which has a broader application prospect.
