Constant Velocity joints with waste heat isothermal annealing weigh about 1.3kg, The product is medium carbon steel, its application in welding:
Preheating is beneficial to reduce the highest hardness of the heat affected zone of carbon steel, to prevent cold cracks, which is the main process of welding carbon steel, preheating can improve joint plasticity, reduce residual stress after welding.
Generally, the preheating temperature of 35 and 45 steel is 150~250℃ when the carbon content is high or the crack tendency is large because of the thickness and stiffness, the preheating temperature can be increased to 250~400℃.
If the weldment is too large and the whole preheating is difficult, local preheating can be carried out. The heating range of local preheating is 150~200mm on both sides of the welding joint.
The electrode conditions permit the preferred use of alkaline electrode.
