Constant Velocity joints with waste heat isothermal annealing weigh about 3.9kg,The material of this product is 40Cr, and its hardness after tempering is about 32-36HRC, that is to say, about 301-340Hb.
Characteristic is that it belongs to medium carbon quenching and tempering steel, cold heading die steel. The steel is affordable and easy to process. After proper heat treatment, certain toughness, plasticity and wear resistance can be obtained.
Normalizing can improve the microstructure refinement and close to equilibrium state, which can improve the cutting performance of blank. The steel has the best comprehensive mechanical properties when tempered at 550~570℃. The hardenability of the steel is higher than 45 steel, suitable for high frequency quenching, flame quenching and other surface hardening treatment.
