A Double Stainless Steel Rod FTTH Fiber Fusion Cable Heat Shrink Sleeve is consisted of cross linked polyolefin, hot melt tubes and stainless reinforcing steel rod which keep optic transmission properties of optical fiber and enhance the protection to optical fiber splices.
The outer high quality irradiation cross-linked polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing provides an instant shrink-force and drives the adhesive liner into all areas of the splice and excludes all the air. The stainless steel rod provides additional rigidity to prevent. Misalignment, micro bending or breakage of the fiber according to the diameter after shrinking and accommodate fiber diameter.
The Fiber Heat Shrink Sleeve was developed to protect and strengthen fusion splices on fiber optic cables. We must be installed on the optical fiber before fiber fusion (otherwise, you will have to break the optical fiber and start again) It is friendly operated to the optic fiber during installation without damaged and micro bending.
