Performance & Installation
Final Drive Installation Precautions
Check that piping and flexible hoses are correctly installed. Ensure correct direction of motor rotation is achieved. Check for leakage from all motor parts. Ensure the system operates within specified working temperature. Verify pressure operates within specified range.
Troubleshooting - General Precautions
- If you experience abnormal operation of the Track Drive Motor, inspect all working circuit elements that could potentially affect the motor's performance
- If disassembly of the Track Drive Motor is necessary, perform in a clean environment to ensure no parts are missing or damaged during reassembly
- During disassembly, note that inner hydraulic components are precision manufactured and must be handled with care to avoid irreversible damage
Diagnosis & Maintenance
- If motor runs with unusual sound, unscrew plug from case drain and check oil level. Add oil if required and bleed trapped air from circuit. Check oil quality - replace if impurities present to extend Track Drive Motor life
- If abnormal operation persists, check pressure throughout work circuit to assess whether motor requires repair
