Product Overview
The tester is used to simulate the conditions in which various types of batteries are exposed to needle puncture when used, transported, stored or disposed of household waste.
The test should be carried out at an ambient temperature of 20℃±5℃, and the battery connected to the thermocouple (the contact of the thermocouple is fixed on the large surface of the battery) is placed in a fume hood. Use a non-corrosive steel needle with a diameter of 2-8mm to pierce the center of the largest surface of the battery at a speed of 10mm/s to 40mm/s, hold it for any time and observe the test results. If the battery does not explode or catch fire, it is considered qualified.
