IEC 60529 Sand And Dust Test Chamber For Dust‑Resistance & Sealing Performance Test
The equipment is used to test the dust resistance and sealing performance of electrical and electronic products, automotive and motorcycle components, and seals under dusty conditions. It evaluates product performance during operation, storage, and transportation, including the potential effects of airborne particles.
A conical funnel at the bottom collects the dust. A high-pressure turbine fan draws the dust upward and delivers it to the top of the chamber, where it falls freely onto the test sample. The dust is continuously circulated throughout the chamber.
The equipment complies with the following test requirements:
IEC 60529-13.4, EN 60598 and etc.
It is suitable for dust protection testing of household appliances, low-voltage electrical equipment, automobiles, motorcycles, and related components.
