Equipment Functionality
The apparatus utilizes motor-driven turntable rotation to perform comprehensive bending tests on copper core or copper alloy sheathed cables. During testing, electrical verification is conducted with 750V for 500V cables and 1250V for 750V cables applied between conductors and between conductors and sheath for 15 minutes.

Testing Procedure
For cables up to 14mm diameter, samples are clamped and bent around appropriate mandrels to form semi-circles with extended straight portions. After initial bending, clamping pressure is released and samples are rotated 180° around the longitudinal axis while remaining in the jig.
