IEC 60695-2-20 Hot Wire Ignition Coil Flammability Testing Equipment with 250mm Heating Wire and 120s Test Duration
Designed for fire hazard testing on solid electrical insulating materials used in information technology equipment, low-voltage switchgear, and control equipment parts. Simulates thermal stress from hot components or overload resistance ignition sources over short durations.
Utilizes a specific electric heating wire (ф0.5mm, length 250mm, Ni80/Cr20 material). After pre-annealing with specified heating power (0.26W/mm) for 8-12 seconds, the wire is wound with specific tension (5.4N) and spacing (6 or 6.35mm) around the sample. The test evaluates fire hazard based on ignition occurrence or ignition time during 120-second heating.
Chamber design with integrated fume hood for safe operation.
