Samples and Restrictions: Information technology equipment, low-voltage switchgear and control equipment parts
Application: Suitable for arcing resistance testing of electrical and electronic products, household appliances and their materials. Simulates potential leakage between live parts of different polarities or between live parts and grounded metal parts to measure and evaluate insulator arcing resistance under specified voltage conditions.
Test Principle: The high current arc ignition test apparatus uses double electrodes operating at 33A current with 0.5 power factor. With arc ignition speed of 254mm/s and repetition frequency of 40 times/min, the arc is repeated 200 times on the sample surface to evaluate high-current arc ignition resistance (HAI). Lower level numbers indicate materials that are harder to ignite.
Structure: Chamber design includes protective cover for operator safety.
