Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble polymer. Because its molecular chain contains a certain number of polar genes, it can bridge between particles by adsorbing solid particles suspended in water or make particles agglomerate to form large flocs through charge neutralization. It can accelerate the sedimentation of particles in the suspension, has a very obvious effect of speeding up solution clarification and promoting filtration. It has good water solubility and can be completely dissolved in cold water. According to the ionic characteristics, it can be divided into three types: cationic, anionic, and non-ionic.

Polyacrylamide use:
1. Sludge dewatering: the sludge can be effectively dewatered before it enters the press. Large flocs are produced during dehydration, the filter cloth is not sticky, does not disperse during filter press, and the dehydration efficiency is high.
