Cationic Polyacrylamide Flocculant For Dyeing Wastewater Treatment

Cationic polyacrylamide is a linear polymer compound. Because it has a variety of active groups, it can have affinity with many substances and form hydrogen bonds through adsorption. Mainly used to flocculate negatively charged colloids. It has the functions of turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption and adhesion. It is suitable for printing and dyeing, papermaking, food, construction, metallurgy, mineral processing, coal powder, oil field, aquatic product processing, fermentation and other industries. The treatment of wastewater with high organic colloid content is particularly suitable for the dehydration treatment of industrial sludge such as municipal sewage, municipal sludge, and papermaking sludge.

It is a hard glassy solid at room temperature with good thermal stability. It can be dissolved in water in any proportion, and the aqueous solution is a uniform and transparent liquid. After long-term storage, the viscosity of the solution will decrease due to the slow degradation of the polymer, especially when the storage and transportation conditions are poor.

Powdery cationic polyacrylamide is often used in organic wastewater: it is usually used to flocculate and settle negatively charged suspended particles in wastewater. According to the cationic acidic or alkaline medium in the flocculation device, it is very effective to use positive electricity to quickly clarify sewage. In addition to powdered polyacrylamide, polyaluminum chloride and anionic polyacrylamide molded products are also increasingly used in organic wastewater treatment.
