PAC Poly Aluminium Chloride Good Water Purification Effect Chemical Additives

Polyaluminum chloride (aluminum chloride hydrate) is also referred to as PAC for short, and is used as a coagulant in deodorants and water purification. This compound is preferred in some cases because of its high charge, which makes it more effective in destroying and removing suspended matter than other aluminum salts.

Advantages:

1. Using PAC as a flocculant, flocs form and settle quickly. The flocs formed are easy to filter.

2. Compared with aluminum sulfate flocculant, the water quality after PAC treatment is better; the total cost is reduced by 15% to 30%, and the solubility is better.

3. It can be applied to water of various pH values. The flocculation function is effective in water with pH 5 to pH 9

4. Compared with inorganic flocculants, PAC is suitable for wide-temperature water and has an effect on low-temperature water. It reduces less alkalinity and therefore requires less or no alkali.

5. The water after PAC treatment contains less salt, which is conducive to the purification of high-purity water and ion exchange treatment

6. PAC has low corrosiveness and is easy to transport, handle and operate.
