Polyacrylamide Powder Good Flocculation Effect Water Treatment Chemicals PAM White Powder
Polyacrylamide is a water-soluble linear polymer formed by the polymerization of acrylamide monomer initiated by free radicals. It is also called partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide. It is widely used in water treatment and electric power, mining, coal preparation, asbestos products, petrochemical, papermaking, textile, sugar, medicine, environmental protection and other industries. Divided into four categories: anionic, cationic, non-ionic and zwitterionic.

Features:
Polyacrylamide does not have the toxic effects of acrylamide monomer. The polymer has an affinity for water and can form a very high concentration aqueous solution. Due to their gel-like properties, these solutions are used as flocculants to remove suspended particles in sewage and industrial wastewater. Through the highly active amide group, the polymer can be chemically modified to produce a positively charged cationic polymer or a negatively charged anionic polymer. Ionic polymers are particularly suitable for separating metals from residues in various mineral processing and metallurgical operations.
