Product Features:

1. EN15G-24-3 in developing is a single port midspan Injector with 2 Pair output to 15 watts of power at 24Vdc, 0.64Amp.

2. Designed for the passive powered 15W PoE Powered Devices (PDs), such as IP Cameras,wi-reless APs, Microwave radio, IoT application, door locks, displays, POS, and information kiosks, It supports 10/100/1000Mbps of data rates.

3. Enclosed in an IP40 fire retardant plastic case, designed for indoor installation with a Wall-plug mouted. It operates with a wide input voltage of 100-240Vac, 50 or 60 Hz. The effective distance limitation of 100 meters over Cat5e/Cat6 cables

Are there different types?
Active PoE Injector
Conforms to the PoE standard of IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, or IEEE 802.3bt is considered to use active PoE. During the initial handshake, if the PoE injector does not receive the proper acknowledgment, it will not power up, ensuring the device’s safety. The typical 802.3at/af/bt PoE voltage is 44 to 57 volts (V) DC.

Passive PoE Injector
Adopts PoE technology that does not conform to the 802.3at/af/bt standard is considered to use passive PoE. Generally, passive PoE devices run on 18 to 48 volts. It is important to note that it may likely cause permanent electrical damage to the device if the wrong voltage is connected.
