Usage

Fenteng CT0012E is recommended for use in the 1st vat of a two-stage impregnation line (UF-or UF-/MF-mixed resin) and especially for the application in balance paper impregnation. It is a pH neutral, highly efficient catalyst. Low dosages of Fenteng CT0012 prove sufficient to achieve UF- and MF-resin curing with very short press times.

Applications:

1.Add about 0.1-0.3% of MF to the liquid resin

2.The degree of reaction depends on the PH value and reactivity of the resin. The boiling water curing time of the resin ranges from 4-8 minutes.

3.The curing agent should be added last after adding other kinds of additives

Amino resin is a thermosetting resin by condensation of amino compounds and formaldehyde. It is customary to refer to melamine formaldehyde resin and urea formaldehyde resin as amino resin.
