Product description:
BunnyTube cfDNA Preservation BCT Tube for Non-invasive Prenatal Screening for Next Generation Sequencing uses EDTA anticoagulant and special protective agents to stably preserve cell-free DNA in blood for up to 14 days at 6-35°C. Preserved blood samples can be used to most commercial kits for cfDNA extraction to meet the needs of research and in-vitro diagnostic applications.
Advantage
- Technique:Use EDTA-K3 as anticoagulant, which has highest solubility in the liquid, to bind to Ca2+ ions in blood to form chelates, and inhibit thrombospondin activation to prevent blood clotting.
- Production:Full set of reagents are manufactured in GMP production factory with ISO13485 standard; control the source production process, use scientific verification system with industry gold standard
- Application:Thousands of clinical samples tested in the NGS testing laboratory of Geneseeq (CAP & CLIA certified), with stable results and expected performance indicators.
Figure 1. Hemolysis of blood samples and stable cfDNA yield at different storage times.
Blood samples were collected into 3 brands of preservation tubes, and the samples were placed at room temperature for 0, 3, 7 and 14 days to compare the hemolysis and cfDNA yield. BunnyTube cfDNA Preservation Tube for Body Fluid and Non-invasive Pre-natal Screening Genetic Testing CE Certified could effectively inhibit hemolysis and the extracted cfDNA yield was stable.
Figure 1. Hemolysis of blood samples and stable cfDNA yield at different transport temperatures.
The blood samples were collected into 3 brands of preservation tubes, and samples were compared for hemolysis and cfDNA yield after 0 days at room temp, 3 days at room temp (25℃), high temp (35℃) and low temp (4℃) transportation. BunnyTube cfDNA Preservation Tube for Body Fluid and Non-invasive Pre-natal Screening Genetic Testing CE Certified can withstand different transportation temperatures and have better resistance to genomic nucleic acid release
