1.Question:How do you tie the belt?

A: pass the non-circular end of the belt through a slot on the top edge of the shopping cart. Then pass the non-ring end of the belt through the ring end and tighten it. Then connect one end of the belt to the cart. Put the belt on the snowboard and pass it through another slot on the top edge of the cable car. Tighten and return to the top of the snowboard, then press the various parts of the nylon buckle together.

Hard time figuring out how to give you the measurements you want. the unit is about 48" wide. If the unit is being stored upright, it is 70" tall (that lies down horizontally above the seat when moving a machine) and 20" from the outside of the tire to the handle portion just referenced that lies horizontally above the seat. My machine that I got this for just threw a rod and my other has reverse so I don't need it anymore if you are interested. I've got it a couple months ago and it works great.
