1.maybe it's a stupid question, but if i'm sliding under from the back of sled, will the lift pads clear the tracks? do they swing away?

They don't swing away, but you can just slide the bar the pads are on in or out to suit the width. I will mention here that this lift does not work as well on older sleds with swingarm fron suspension; the main frame runs into the handlebars before it can go forward enough. It works, just not a balanced lift that way.

2.Can you provide the tire size?... I want to make certain I can get replacement tires and tubes.

Not sure what the tire size was but I can tell you the whole thing broke after the 3rd use. The welds broke on it.
