Synthetic Cubic Boron Nitride CBN Powder For Electroplated Tool
Synthetic Cubic Boron Nitride CBN Powder 8000-9000 HV
Description:
Cubic Boron Nitride CBN is one of the hardest materials at this stage. Its microscopic hardness is about (8000~9000HV), which is second only to the hardness of diamond (9000~10000HV). The crystal structure of cubic boron nitride is similar to that of diamond and belongs to In the face-centered cubic system, not only the lattice constant (a=3.615A) is similar (diamond a=3.567A), but the types of chemical bonds in the crystal are also the same. The atoms are all connected by covalent bonds. The covalent bond of cubic boron nitride is saturated, the directionality and bonding force of the bond are very strong, and it has the hardness and compressive strength close to that of diamond. The microhardness of cubic boron nitride powder is HV8000-9000. When processing hardened steel and gray cast iron, the wear resistance of cubic boron nitride tools is much higher than that of hardness alloys, ceramics and diamond tools. With certain toughness, it can be used not only for processing tough cast iron, but also for processing steel or other alloy materials with high strength, high hardness and high heat sensitivity.

cBN80 series is our highest leval of cBN powder with high strength, high toughness, high stability and recommended for vitrified bond cBN grinding wheels processing auto camshaft and crankshaft, which is especially suitable for production of PCBN and cBN sintered body.
- CBN A80M Micron Size
A80M is now the higher level of CBN powder in China, with high toughness, high stability, which is the best choice for vitrified bond CBN grinding wheel processing aturo camshaft and crankshaft. Therefore, A80M has strong grinding force and much better stability than other CBN micronpowder. The cleanliness of the surface through special processing is especially suitable for the production of PCBN and CBN sintered body.
Main Application of Harmony CBN Powder
The grinding performance of cubic boron nitride abrasive tools is very excellent, not only capable of processing difficult-to-grind materials, improving productivity, but also conducive to strict control of the shape and dimensional accuracy of the workpiece, but also effectively improving the grinding quality of the workpiece and significantly improving The surface integrity of the workpiece after grinding, thus improving the fatigue strength of the parts, prolonging the service life, and increasing the reliability. In addition, the cubic boron nitride abrasive production process is better than ordinary abrasive production in terms of energy consumption and environmental pollution. Therefore, expanding the production and application of cubic boron nitride abrasive tools is an inevitable trend in the development of machinery industry.
- Sharpening and rough grinding of tools containing tungsten, tungsten and molybdenum and other high-speed steels, especially vanadium alloy steel, cobalt alloy steel, and special high-speed steel tools.
- Fine grinding and final grinding of precision parts made of heat-resistant steel, stainless steel and high-hardness alloy structural steel. When these parts are used with ordinary abrasive tools, high accuracy cannot be obtained due to abrasive tool consumption or blunt grinding too fast.
- Grinding of various material parts sensitive to local thermal stress and thermal shock.
- Fine grinding and final grinding of large precision workpieces (machine tool guide rails, high-precision machine tool screws). These workpieces often cause large thermal deformation due to the high grinding temperature, thereby failing to obtain high precision.
- Fine grinding and final grinding of mass-produced workpieces (parts of instruments and miniature bearings) on automatic and semi-automatic machine tools.
- Grinding of complex surface workpieces (gear shapers, broaches, high-precision gears, masters, punches) that require abrasive tools with good edge retention.
- Surface grinding of thread cutters and thread gauges (tap, thread roller, thread plug gauge, etc.).
- Super finishing of difficult-to-machine heat-resistant steel workpieces.
- Grinding of other steel quenching tools.
