【Intended Use】

Canine Parvovirus infection is a viral infection that occurs in dogs. There are two forms of infection, enteritis and myocarditis. The enteritis type occurs in adult dogs and puppies older than 3 months. The virus invades the intestinal membranes, causing loss of appetite, vomiting, bloody stools, and increased body temperature in sick dogs.

This kit is used for the qualitative detection of canine parvovirus in canine feces.

【Principle】

This kit uses a specific antigen-antibody response and colloidal gold immunochromatography to detect canine parvovirus (CPV) antigens in canine stool samples.

After the sample is added to the dosing well, it moves along the chromatography membrane with the colloidal gold marker, if there is a canine parvovirus in the sample, it binds to the colloidal gold marker and the antibody on the detection line (T line) to show a purple color, and if the sample does not have canine parvovirus, the detection line (T line) does not have a purple-red line. Regardless of whether canine parvovirus is present in the sample, a purple-red line appears on the quality control line (C line).

Storage conditions: Stored in a dry place at 2-40 ° C, avoid direct sunlight, do not open it before use.

Validity: 24 months.

【Result Interpretation】

1. Negative: In the detection window, only a purple-red line appears on the control line (C). Indicates that canine parvovirus may not be exist in the sample.

2. Positive: In the detection window, a purple-red line appears at the same time at detection line (T) and control line (C). Indicates the existence of canine parvovirus in the sample.

3. Invalid: In the detection window, control line (C) does not appear indicates that the result is invalid. It may not be done properly and retesting is recommended.
