Lithium Niobate Wafer Overview
Lithium Niobate (LiNbO3, LN) crystal is an artificial material with exceptional electro-optic, nonlinear, and piezoelectric properties. These crystals serve as critical components for optical waveguides, mobile devices, piezoelectric sensors, light modulators, and various linear/nonlinear optical applications. The high electro-optical coefficients make lithium niobate ideal for optical amplitude and phase modulators, Pockels cells, and laser Q-switching modulators.
