4-inch single-side polished Lithium Tantalate (LiTaO3) wafers in 36°Y and 42°Y orientations, specifically engineered for surface acoustic wave (SAW) device manufacturing in the electronics industry.
Key Features & Applications
Lithium Tantalate crystals offer superior piezoelectric properties essential for SAW devices. With an electromechanical coupling ratio of 1:1.5, they provide significantly higher surface-to-surface connection efficiency compared to quartz.
Our reduced LiTaO3 wafers are specially treated to neutralize pyro-electric charges, preventing interdigital electrode burn during high-temperature processing cycles common in SAW device production.
