High-precision lithium niobate wafers with Ra roughness of 1nm, available in 4", 6", and 8" diameters. Offered in both optical grade and SAW grade configurations with custom doping options.
Material Properties & Applications
Lithium niobate is transparent across 0.25-5.3 μm wavelengths, making it suitable for visible, near IR, and middle IR applications. As a ferroelectric material, it exhibits exceptional piezoelectric, nonlinear optic, photoelastic, and Pockels effects with coefficients significantly higher than comparable materials.
