This 5-inch diameter sapphire substrate features exceptional hardness (9.0 Mohs) and 99.999% pure Al₂O₃ monocrystalline material, delivering superior optical, thermal, and chemical performance for demanding industrial applications.
Material Properties
Single crystal sapphire Al₂O₃ combines excellent optical, physical, and chemical characteristics. As the hardest oxide crystal, it maintains high strength at elevated temperatures, offers outstanding thermal properties, and provides excellent transparency from visible to near-infrared wavelengths.
