R Type High Potential Magnesium Anode Cathodic Protection R36 3.7kg
R Type Magnesium Anode High Potential Widely Used In Soil For Cathodic Protection
Introduction:
The Mg-Mn sacrificial anode is a high-potential magnesium anode, and its current efficiency is usually around 50%.
On the basis of fully studying the corrosion laws of Mg-Mn sacrificial anodes and high-purity magnesium anodes, two main reasons that affect the current efficiency of high-potential magnesium anodes are summarized, self-corrosion and large-scale shedding of grains. Two main aspects of anode current efficiency are used to improve the current efficiency of the anode, and a specific process is adopted to make the Mg-Mn sacrificial anode have excellent electrochemical performance, uniform consumption and longer service life in the cathodic protection process.

Features:
The main characteristics of high-potential magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes are large electricity per unit mass, high potential, small specific gravity, negative potential, high driving voltage to Fe, low current efficiency, etc., especially suitable for high resistivity media. When using magnesium alloy sacrificial anode, care should be taken to avoid collision with steel structure. American standard ASTM8431993 (2003) and Chinese standard GB/T177312004 both require the current efficiency of high-potential magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes to be higher than 50% and the potential higher than 1.77 V.
Application:
Applicable to anti-corrosion protection of the oil, gas, water supply and drainage pipelines, as well as the protection of harbor, ship, resevoir, gate and other projects in water.
