Lab Shaking Table Gravity Separation Machine 1100x500mm for Metallurgy

The laboratory shaking table for metallurgy is one of the main pieces of equipment used for gravity concentration research. This table consists of eight main components: the head of bed, motor, adjustable slope mechanism, bed surface with riffles, feed chute, water distributor, concentrate launder and the supporting frame. Together they produce the differential motion that separates minerals according to specific gravity.

It is used in metallurgy laboratories to evaluate the gravity separability of ores, to develop concentration flowsheets and to produce small quantities of concentrate for further metallurgical testing.

In a typical separation test, the ore is ground to the liberation size and deslimed if necessary. The pulp is then fed at 10-30 percent density onto the table, where the operator adjusts the slope (0-10 degrees), stroke and wash water until the concentrate band is clean and the tailings are free of recoverable values. Slime feeds below 0.074 mm and ore sand feeds below 2 mm can both be treated by changing the settings.
