Chapter 1 User Attention

1.1 Safety attention

1.Attention no water blow or soak into machine box causing damage to electrical system even the machine includes water-proof feather.

2. Avoid improper vibration & impact to machine.

3.Not touch buttons/switches with wet fingers.

4.Assure correct power source voltage & frequency.

5.Assure full grounding.

6.No touch moving parts when the machine is running.

7.Assure power off when disassemble the polish plate or other parts.

• 2 Preparation before running
  • Check machine assure all parts in full ready and normal status.
  • Prepare tissue for liquid-sop up and cleaning, should be soft, absorbent.
  • bottles of alcohol for cleaning.
  • Ultra-sonic cleaner and relative tooling, fixtures.

• 3 Safety of polishing liquid
  • If polish liquid drops to skin or eyes carelessly, flush them with water immediately and completely.
  • Store polish liquid in well-ventilated location.
  • If cloth is stained by polish liquid, should clean/wash right away.
  • Kept under 0_~50℃ envoirnment after use.

Chapter 2 Generals

• Structure & scope

Application scope:

HanXin-polisher is applied to materials & specification as below:

Notes: should use specified polishing paper and liquid, otherwise there will be uncertain trouble to polishing quality.

• 2 Name of sub-assembly, part or component
  • Power switch: machine power on/off.
  • FUSE specification: 250V/0.5A
  • Speed Adjustor: used for adjustment of polishing plate’s rotating speed.
  • ON/OFF button: click ON button, run machine, click OFF button, stop machine.

5 . Timer: set/display polishing duration.

6. Counter: record polishing quantity, reset record by pressing RST button.

2.3 Polish Procedure

Attention during polishing:

(1) It’s better to apply a very small pressure by hand to the holder, when the water sandpaper has been long time used, suggest to replace it with new one if end resin is unable to remove within 30 seconds.

Chapter 3 Preparation Before Polishing

This chapter narrates the preparation before polishing:

3.1 Preparation of polishing-plate

• Power off
• Assure proper lubrication underneath polishing-plate that mates with brass-ring.
• Install polishing-plate with bottom holes aligning with pins over centre-driving-shaft, assure complete contact between plate and brass-ring.

Attention: Assure correct and good mation between plate bottom holes and pins of centre-driving-shaft.

• Placement of polishing paper

a. Clean rubber disc over polishing-plate with tissue and alcohol, assure no dirty and other defect.

b. Place polishing-paper to polishing-plate with centre alignment, wipe paper from middle to margin by hand, assure no air bubble underneeth.

Attention: 4 kinds of adaptable polishing-paper: 30um, 9um, 1um, ADS (or other specification paper suitable for polishing).

• Setup of pressure

Attention: For the selection of weight position, should consider polishing process, product specfication, quantity over the holder. If quantity is less than 6, some wasted or un-finish ferrules installed to assure quanity is no less than 6.

3.4 Setup of polish duration

Press down key over timer panel to adjust digital of time. Refer to Table2-1 for details of polishing duration setup.

Chapter 4 Polish

Polishing Procedure & Parameters

Attention: Parameters above base on sandpaper from SENKO, lifetime might be varied accordingly if using other sand-paer.

Install ferrule to the holder correctly,If ferrules are in incorrect fix status, will be bad polish. Wen quantity is less than 12, should install ferrules in suitable position matrix for the balance of entire holder.　　　　　　　　　　　　　

Chapter 5 Maintenance

In order to keep the machine in stable and normal status, should fulfill manitenance when the machine finish operating.

• After the machine finishes operating, or stop for certain time, must clean all polishing liquid completely, otherwise the liquid will get dry and leave hard stain, which will cause trouble for next polishing.
• If the machine keeps no running for long time, need clean the holder in ultra-sonic cleaner, then paste rusty-proof lubrication, stored in specified tooling box.
• The lifetime of polishing paper is varied on paper’s specification and polishing process.
• Should inspect lubrication status of moving parts and add lubrication periodly, advice maintenance of lubrication, rusty-proof paste with NLGIZ level lubrication monthly.
• Should inspect cooling fan, assure no stuck for dirt, clean dirt and stain over fan to keep smooth cooling system.
• Protect the polishing plate and brass-ring from contamination and impact.
