Brief introduction:
Air duct is a pipe system to distribute the air between the air-conditioner host to the air outlets on the train. On railway train, the air duct normally made of aluminum bended into requested shape, cooperated with rivet and glue sealing. Outside the aluminum, the surfaces are covered with thermal insulation materials to keep the smallest heat loss of the air inside. The air duct pipe lines are mounted onto the train frame work by mounting brackets.
The air duct sections are connected by sealing rivet and the connecting parts are sealed by special sealing material, ensuring no air leakage. The rivet connection is strong enough to resist any abnormal shape and reduce the air resistance.
The welding process of the air duct complies with Chinese relevant standard of TB/T3259-2011.
