L70 grain hopper wagon is designed for standard gauge 1435mm railway for the transportation of bulk grains like corn, wheat and soybeans. The hopper wagon has the features of good sealing, no pollution, and no need package. To maximum expand the capacity, the cross section is designed to be a large tubular shape with 70 tons loading weight and this structure could disperse the force generated by the collision of bulk grain during transportation, so that the grains should not easily hardened and damp. The loading ports are fitting on the top of the hopper wagon and the 4 unloading hopper ports are fitted at the bottom. The doors could be operated easily. The bulk grains could flow out automatically by its own gravity, which is very convenient for loading and unloading. The unloaded grains from the hopper wagon can be transported to the granary through the conveyor belt under the iron mesh for subsequent processing.This grain hopper wagons could work well with advanced automatic grans collection and package system.

Main Structure:

The Grain hopper wagon adopts a welded whole steel load-bearing structure without a center beam, mainly composed of the vehicle body, braking device, coupler buffer device, bogie, and other parts.

The grain hopper wagon is composed of an under frame, side walls, end walls, funnels, roof, loading port covers, bottom doors, etc. The main structure of the vehicle body is made of Q450NQR1 high-strength weather resistant steel.

The main pressure of the air braking device meets the requirements of 500kPa and 600kPa. Mainly composed of 120 type control valve , 254 × 254 integral spinning sealed brake cylinder, air storage cylinder, an improved ST2-250 bidirectional automatic slack adjuster, a KZW-A type empty and load vehicle automatic adjustment device, and a freight car derailment automatic braking device.
