Breif introduction:
F-type interlocking coupler was developed on the basis of H-type tight coupling for passenger cars in 1947 and became AAR standard coupler in 1954.
F coupler is made of E grade steel, material complies with AAR M201 standard, profile comply with AAR S117 standard, manufacture comply with AAR M211 standard.
FR rotatable couplers are developed to meet the requirements of coals and other bulk goods’ unloading without uncoupling and tipping, on base of F type coupler. FR Interlock rotatable couplers have been widely applied in heavy unit freight wagons, and have improved the transportation efficiency significantly.
Main technical features:
- High structural strength, small coupling clearance, anti uncouple, interlock and auto centering functions, reliable function, good curve trafficability;
- An additional anti falling device and one auxiliary interlock device are under the hook head;
- Touch profile gap 9.5mm, 51% smaller than E type coupler;
- The bottom support at the front end of coupler can effectively prevent the broken coupler from falling onto the rail, resulting in major accidents.
