SKL Railway Clips - Forged Steel Fastening System
SKL clips provide a resilient, screwed-direct fastening solution for concrete sleepers in ballasted railway tracks. This proven system offers simple, reliable, and safe performance across multiple countries worldwide.
The rail seat assembly consists of two tension clamps (SKL clips) positioned on angled guide plates on each side of the rail. Guide plates are secured in concrete surface recesses, providing horizontal rail location and transferring lateral loads to the sleeper. An under-rail pad attenuates impact and provides electrical resistance, with all components secured using screws in concrete dowel inserts.
