Machine Structure & Components

Operation Process
Material flows from granulation bin through feeding auger into chute, then enters pressing chamber via forced feeder. Feeding scraper distributes material to two pressing areas within the ring die. High-speed rotation of the ring die brings material between die and pressure roller, where strong extrusion gradually compacts and forms material into columnar shapes that exit through die holes. Cutter mechanism then produces pellets of required length for subsequent processing.
Compression Ratio Technology
Compression ratio (L/D where L is effective die hole pelleting length and D is effective die hole diameter) determines pellet density. Higher ratios produce denser pellets, but optimal ratio depends on raw material hardness - harder materials require smaller compression ratios for optimal quality.
