The Type 2 end of this cable must always be plugged directly into a charge point socket, this can not be used as an extension or an adaptor to a tethered lead.
How to start charging ?
1. Firmly insert the Type 2 male plug into the outlet socket on the AC EVSE.
2. Insert the Type 2 female plug into the inlet socket on the electric vehicle.
3. Lock your electric vehicle and the AC EVSE will charge the vehicle.
How to stop charging ?
1. Unplug the Type 2 male plug from the EVSE outlet to disconnect power.
2. Disconnect the Type 2 female plug from the vehicle inlet.
3. Put the EV charging cable away.
Always inspect cables, adapters and contacts for damage and contamination before use.
Never charge a damaged product.
Never use dirty or wet contacts.
Only connect the charging adapter to vehicle outlets and infrastructure outlets that are water, moisture and water resistant.
Never disconnect the plug by force. Hazardous arcing can cause serious injury or death.
Some electric vehicles can be started by connecting cables. Just make sure to disconnect it before driving away.
Never touch a connector if it is smoking or melting. Stop the charging process if possible. In any case press the emergency stop switch on the charging station.
Make sure the cables are kept out of the reach of children. Only those with a valid motor vehicle driver's license can use it.
