Description
The portable EV charger is built very well. It has the non switched unit and you will like the faster charging rate, but it hasn't made it through a complete charge cycle yet. On 220v it starts off great. When it reaches about 80% it stops charging and gives a fault code of either 5 flashes for overcurrent protection or 6 flashes for short current protection. Unplugging the unit and plugging it back in will get it going again.

Input voltage: Level 1, 110V ~ 120V; Level 2, 220V ~ 240V. Comparing with traditional charger 16A, 40A EV charger 7 times faster than normal EV charger.
Q2. Is it compatible with all EVs?
A2: SAE J1772 charging adaptor is compatible with most of the EVs, and it's also applicable to Tesla charging with the additional J1772-to-Tesla adapter.
Q3. What's the difference between auto mode and manual mode on the current adjustment?
A: Smart Mode: simple and direct, to maximize the output, and shorten charging time.
Manual Mode: customized constant current, longer charging time, better battery life.
Q4. Will it stop charging when the battery is already 100%?
A4: The charging will automatically cut off the power when the battery is fully charged.
