Zirconium tungsten electrode is an electrode product in which tungsten is doped with tungsten oxide. It has good welding performance and corrosion resistance, but it can only be used in AC welding. According to the different doping amount of the dopant, the color code coating head of the electrode has two kinds of brown and white.

Applications:

The welding performance of the zirconium tungsten electrode is located between the pure tungsten electrode and the thoriated tungsten electrode. It is a tungsten electrode product developed to improve the disadvantages of the pure tungsten electrode being easy to melt itself and pollute the workpiece under high-load welding conditions.
