W-Mo alloys can be divided into cuboids, cubes (cubes), hexagons, cylinders and spheres, etc. They have the same physical and chemical properties under the same conditions of raw material ratio, production process and process parameters, but their uses are different.

 

Take molybdenum tungsten  alloy cube as an example, it is an alloy material composed of refractory metal tungsten and molybdenum, and its English name is molybdenum tungsten  alloy cube. The tungsten content in commonly used tungsten-molybdenum alloys is 30% to 50%. When the molybdenum content is greater than the tungsten content, the tungsten-molybdenum alloy can also be called a molybdenum-tungsten alloy.

In terms of physical and chemical properties, W-Mo alloy cubes have the characteristics of high melting point (2620-3410°C), high density, high strength, high hardness, low thermal expansion coefficient, low vapor pressure, good electrical and thermal conductivity and wear resistance. Note: The performance of the alloy will vary with the ratio of raw materials, mainly reflected in the melting point, hardness and strength of the alloy will basically increase with the increase of tungsten content.

 

4. Production Craft of Metal Alloys Cube For Chemical Collection Molybdenum Tungsten Alloy:

 

In terms of production process, W-Mo alloy cubes can be smelted by powder metallurgy process, vacuum arc smelting method, and vacuum electron bombardment smelting method. Among them, the steps of powder metallurgy technology: firstly mix tungsten powder and molybdenum powder, then press into original billet through a mechanical press, and finally sinter in a high-temperature sintering furnace to obtain the desired product.
