Operating Principle
The PJP jet pump pneumatic conveying system comprises the jet pump, pneumatic butterfly valve, pump top chamber, manual spiral gate, and compressed air supply. Compressed air from Roots blowers passes through the nozzle, creating high-speed airflow that generates negative pressure within the pump box. This allows materials from the pump top bin to mix with the high-speed airflow. As the material-gas mixture passes through the expansion pipe, kinetic energy converts to static pressure energy, enabling powder transportation through feeding pipes to the destination.
The manual spiral gate facilitates commissioning and maintenance, while the pneumatic butterfly valve automatically closes during material transport suspension or system pressure abnormalities. Material conveying capacity varies based on silo material height or air lock device capacity when equipped.
