HVM Vertical Bauxite Grinding Mill with 1-45 t/h Capacity and 10-710 kW Motor Power for Stone Powder Production
Bauxite, also known as alumina ore, is primarily composed of aluminum oxide with impurities. This earthy mineral appears white, off-white, brownish-yellow, or light red depending on iron content. With hardness of 1-3 on Mohs scale, it's insoluble in water but soluble in sulfuric acid and sodium hydroxide solutions. Applications include aluminum smelting, refractory products, abrasives, aerospace components, instrumentation, machinery, and medical equipment casting.
HVM vertical mills process materials with Mohs hardness below 7, including bauxite, kaolin, barite, fluorite, talc, water slag, lime calcium powder, wollastonite, gypsum, limestone, phosphate rock, marble, potassium feldspar, quartz sand, bentonite, and manganese ore.

The motor drives the grinding disc via reducer while material enters through the feed inlet. Hot air flows into the mill, and centrifugal force moves material to the disc edge where grinding rollers crush it in annular grooves. The separator system ensures coarse powder returns for regrinding while qualified fine powder collects as final product. Moisture control is achieved through hot gas contact during processing.
