The motor drives the grinding disc through the reducer. Material enters through the feed inlet and falls to the center of the grinding disc, while hot air enters through the air inlet. Centrifugal force moves material to the disc edge where it passes through annular grooves and is crushed by grinding rollers. The airflow carries material through dynamic and static separators - coarse powder returns for regrinding while qualified fine powder is collected. Moisture content is reduced through contact with hot gas during processing.
