HVM Series Vertical Slag Grinding Mill
Energy-efficient vertical grinding mill specifically designed for granulated blast furnace slag and cement grinding applications. Engineered through extensive research and multi-unit collaboration, this equipment integrates grinding, drying, and grading functions with exceptional efficiency and drying capacity.
Working Principle
The motor drives the grinding disc rotation via reducer. Material enters through the feed inlet to the disc center while hot air enters through the air inlet. Centrifugal force moves material to the disc edge where grinding rollers crush it in annular grooves. The airflow carries material through dynamic and static separators - coarse powder returns for regrinding while qualified fine powder collects in powder collection devices. Moisture content is controlled through hot gas contact during processing.

Note: For mining slag (bond index ≤25kWh/t) and steel slag (bond index ≤30kWh/t). Steel slag grinding capacity decreases by 30%-40% when processing steel slag micro powder.
Material Compatibility
HVM vertical mill processes both easily grindable materials (clay, gypsum, limestone) and challenging materials with poor grindability or high hardness (quartz sand, steel slag, slag, iron ore, kaolin).
