HVM Vertical Slag Grinding Plant 2500-5600mm Grinding Table 900-6700kW Motor Power
Hefei Hengcheng's HVM vertical grinding mill represents advanced technology for high-output slag processing. This integrated system combines drying, grinding, and classification functions to overcome limitations of traditional mills, delivering superior efficiency with reduced energy consumption and maintenance costs.
- Production of wet-milled slag concrete with activators
- Manufacturing of slag Portland cement for marine and underground construction
- Manufacture of slag bricks and concrete products
- Production of lightweight aggregate for expanded slag concrete
- Road and railway engineering applications with slag-gravel concrete
The motor-driven grinding disc rotates via reducer, with material fed centrally and hot air introduced through the inlet. Centrifugal force moves material to the disc edge where grinding rollers crush it in annular grooves. High-speed airflow carries crushed material, with coarse particles recycled for regrinding while qualified fine powder is collected as final product.

Operating Conditions: Raw material moisture <15%, Product specific surface area ≥420㎡/kg, Product moisture ≤1%
Note: Mining slag bond index ≤25kWh/t, Steel slag bond index ≤30kWh/t. Output decreases 30-40% when grinding steel slag micro powder.
High-moisture materials use dedicated dryers, while low-moisture materials utilize hot air from blast stoves directly to the mill. This integrated approach reduces equipment investment and operational energy costs.
Dried slag materials are elevated to raw material hoppers, then conveyed evenly and quantitatively to the mill's grinding chamber for processing.
Ground materials undergo classification, with unqualified powder recycled through the classifier back to the main unit for regrinding.
Qualified fine powder travels via pipeline to dust collectors for separation and collection. Collected product is conveyed to finished silos and loaded into tankers.
