The HEL-700 Series Thin Film Platinum RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) are engineered for monitoring and controlling critical temperatures in demanding industrial HVAC applications. These sensors deliver exceptional linearity, stability, and accuracy across an extensive temperature range while maintaining a compact, fast-response design.

Designed to measure temperatures from -75°C to 540°C (-100°F to 1000°F) with high precision, these fully-assembled elements are ready for immediate integration into probe assemblies without requiring fragile splices to extension leads.
Advanced Manufacturing Technology
Manufactured using a thin layer of platinum deposited on an alumina substrate, each sensor undergoes laser trimming to achieve resistance interchangeability of ±0.2% (±0.5°C accuracy) or optional ±0.1% (±0.3°C accuracy). The sensor chip is then glassed, wired, and potted or ceramic fired to create a durable cylindrical alumina package with either TFE Teflon® or fiberglass-insulated lead wires.
