Silicon Calcium Function

Since calcium silicon has a strong affinity with oxygen, sulfur, hydrogen, nitrogen and carbon in steel fluid, silicon calcium alloy is mainly used for deoxidization, degassing and fixation of sulfur in steel fluid. In the outside refining technology of steel, the content of oxygen and sulfur in steel is reduced to very low by desulphurization and desulphurization with silicon-calcium powder or core wire. It can also control the sulfide from in steel and improve the utilization rate of calcium. In the production of cast iron, silicon calcium alloy not only deoxidizes and purifies, but also plays an inoculating role, which is helpful to form fine or globular graphite. The graphite distribution in gray cast iron is uniform and the white tendency is reduced. And can increase silicon, desulfurization, improve the quality of cast iron.

Calcium Silicon Description

Silicon aluminum calcium alloy deoxidizer is suitable for smelting in electric furnace, converter and medium frequency furnace. It can replace aluminum wire, silicon calcium, silicon aluminum and calcium aluminate to better meet the deoxidation, desulfurization and refining requirements of molten steel.

It is suitable for smelting hrb235, HRB335, HRB400 and other steel grades. Silicon aluminum calcium alloy has low melting point and rich alloy components. It can be quickly melted in molten steel to form a strong reducing atmosphere, which can effectively prevent the oxidation of metal elements and improve the metal recovery.
