How to maintain a permanent magnet brush motor?

It is a complex problem to use and maintain carbon brushes and take measures. The common problems are summarized as follows:

(1) Frequently check that the screws on the brush rod are loose due to heating or vibration during the operation of the permanent magnet brush motor.

(2) The carbon brush shall be fixed at the most appropriate position (i.e. the neutral wire), and the brush holder shall not be moved forward or backward at will.

(3) Check the movement of the carbon brush, whether the carbon brush moves up and down freely in the brush box, and whether there is jamming.

(4) Check the pressure of the carbon brush. The spring pressure on the carbon brush is an important factor to ensure the stable operation of the brush and the uniform conduction of current between various carbon brushes.
