The powertrain of the BYD Qin L DM-i adopts the fifth generation of BYD’s DM-i plug-in hybrid system. It comprises a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine for 74 kW (99 hp) paired with a 160-kW (215 hp) electric motor. This sedan has two LFP battery options supplied by BYD’s subsidiary FinDreams.
