Processing Challenges Solved
Traditional filtration methods like diatomaceous earth and plate frame filtration cannot completely intercept semi-dissolved proteins, pectin, starch, plant fibers, macromolecular pigments, bacteria, and yeast. These impurities often reaggregate over time, causing turbidity and visible precipitation - known as the 'secondary precipitation phenomenon'.

Separation Principle
During membrane filtration, pressurized material flows across the membrane surface. Molecules larger than the membrane molecular weight cutoff are retained, while smaller molecules permeate through to form the clarified dialysate.
