A commercial air conditioner capacitor is an electronic component that plays the role of storing electrical charge and regulating current in a commercial air conditioner.
The basic structure of a capacitor consists of two metal plates close to each other, separated by an insulating medium. When voltage is applied to both ends of a capacitor, an electric charge builds up on the metal plate, creating an electric field. As the voltage increases, so does the build-up of charge until the rated voltage of the capacitor is reached.
